Habitat: They inhabit hedgerows, waste ground, coastal sand dunes where there is Privet and low growing plants. Comment: This moth is fairly common in the southern half of England, Wales and the Midlands. They are localised in northern England and southern Ireland. |

Flight Period: May Habitat: Habits are wide and varied, and include parks gardens, waste ground, hedgerows, road side verges, and where ever there is an abundance of weeds. Comment: This moth is fairly common, and widely distributed in the southern half of Britain. In the north, and Scotland is less common, and more localised. |

Habitat: They inhabit marshy places such as bogs, fens, dykes, pool sides and other such damp localities.
