Golden Waxcap:

Warning: This is not considered worth eating due to it's poor amount of flesh. Although not poisonous, it is easily confused with similar fungi that are.

Habitat: This fungi is found in grass in many grassland habitats. It is not uncommon in gardens, parks, churchyards, they especially seem to favour upland grass pastures that are grazed by sheep.

Comment: Common and widespread throughout the British Isles.
