Status: Resident in UK. Wing Span: 45mm to 50mm. Flight Period: January to March. Habitat: Habitats are many places with a variety of tree's and shrubs. Comment: These moths are fairly common, and are widely distributed in England, and Wales. They are scarcer in Scotland, the Inner Hebrides and Ireland. |

Status: Resident in UK. Wing Span: 42mm to 52mm. Flight Period: March and April. Habitat: Found in bushy places with tree's, including parks. Comment: This species is local and common in south England, Midlands and Wales. In the north and in Scotland it is locally scarce. |

Comment: Common through out England and Wales, in More localised, and wide spread in Scotland. Wide spread and local in northern Ireland, some records from County Kerry. |
