Common Bramble (Blackberry):

UK Status: Native and resident.

Flowering Period: From late spring to early autumn.

Appx Height: From a couple of feet through and up to several feet in height if supported. Rambling in all directions, often becoming intertwined with other plants and trees.

Habitat: This plant grows just about any where, being very hardy and tolerant of many soil types. Seeds are spread by birds and animals alike, including humans.

Comment: This common plant  has made the filling many a tasty pie, fed many wild birds, and is probably the most popular of our wild fruits.
