Periwinkle (vinca minor):

UK Status: Introduced and become naturalised, originating from southern Europe.

Flowering Period: From Late April in a good year, through to late May, or into June.

Appx Height: From about 10cm to 30cm.

Habitat: This plant is very soil tolerant, and can be found in most soil types, including, loam, sand, clay and chalk.

Comment: This plant has become reasonably common in the UK, it is a garden escape that has become naturalised. Often found in sheltered positions against walls, hedgerows and shrubberies.
