Hairy Bittercress:

UK Status: Resident and native.

Flowering Period: Flowers from spring through to the autumn. In forward years it can be in flower in late February.

Appx Height: From a few centimetres, and occasionally up to 50cm.

Habitat: This plant is also known by other common names such as, Lambs Cress, Hoary Bittercress, Spring Cress, Flick Weed and Shot Weed. It will set seed almost any where, and grows in a wide range of conditions. The seeds are often seen growing out of the cracks of pavements, and gaps in walls. When in this type of situation, it rarely gets more that a few centimetres in height.

Comment: In the British Isles this wild flower is fairly common and wide spread.
